Brunei Darussalam will organise a Sunat Hajat Prayer, Reading of Surah Yasin and Special Doa for the health and well-being of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on the 15th of January at 5:45 in the afternoon, with the focal point at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong. To ensure the smooth running of the event, a rehearsal was held at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong, 14th January morning.

In attendance were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health.
